One of our family’s favorite recipes is blackened fish. Here is a way to cook Cajun style trout while camping. Cover the trout generously with your favorite Cajun seasoning and wrap it in bacon. The bacon will keep the fish moist and tender while keeping the spices from burning up. The bacon is mighty good, too.
I always grill fish using a fish basket, you can use it on a campfire, just like we did these hamburgers.
Step 2- Coat the fish with Cajun seasoning, wrap with bacon, grill!
I got so excited about eating, I forgot to get a picture of the finished product. It didn’t last long.
